HONORARY SWEDES

The first Honorary Swede was chosen by a committee in 1968, in conjunction with the Annual Swedish Festival. Serving on the committee throughout the years have been: Don Nordberg, Carleton Anderson, Clarice Baker, Brook Berggren, and Alton Wilhelms. Persons given consideration are Stromsburg natives who have been successful in their chosen occupations and have a high regard for their heritage.
