  2. Notice of Posting of Open Meetings Law by the Mayor
  3. Notice of changes in the agenda by the City Clerk.  (Additions may not be made to this agenda less than 24 hours before the beginning of the meeting unless added under Item 3 of this agenda.)

  5. Approve Regular Council meeting minutes of April 28, 2008.

6.      Presentation of March and April 2008 Police Reports and acceptance of Reports by Council.

  1. Presentation of March 2008 Treasurer’s Report and acceptance by Council of said report.
  2. Discussion and decision by Council of renewing Cable Nebraska, L.L.C.’s cable television franchise.
  3. Discussion and decision by Council of plans and specifications as prepared by Olsson and Associates of the proposed water line to the Cross County School building.

10.  Discussion and approval by Council of Stromsburg Baptist Church’s request to alter the curb for water drainage.

  1. Review and decision by Council of estimates for various options for Howard Mapel’s Locker building located at 214 East 4th Street.

12.  Review and discussion of nuisance properties.

  1. Discussion and decision by Council of refunding the penalty from Trudy Anderson’s utility account at 401 E. 8th Street.

14.  Discuss Implementing a City Sales Tax.

15.  Discussion and decision by Council of pooling Housing Rehab Funds with a regional project.

  1. Discussion by Council of repairs needed to the back of City Hall, to fix the roof, or whatever is leaking into the back offices, and touch up painting on the front of City Hall.
  2. Approval by Council of sending Nancy Bryan, city clerk/treasurer and Kathy Hengelfelt, deputy clerk/treasurer, to the Municipal Accounting and Finance Conference and Pre-Conference at the Holiday Inn in Kearney June 25-27, 2008.
