  1. Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance 
  2. Notice of Posting of Open Meetings Law by the Mayor
  3. Notice of changes in the agenda by the City Clerk.  (Additions may not be made to this agenda less than 24 hours before the beginning of the meeting unless added under Item 3 of this agenda.)
  4. Citizens with business not scheduled on the agenda.  (As required by State Law, no matter may be considered under this item unless Council determines that the matter requires emergency action.)
  5. Approve Regular Council meeting minutes of February 22, 2010.

6.      One and Six Year Street Plan hearing.  (5:30 p.m.)

7.      Presentation of February 2010 Police Report and acceptance of Report by Council.

8.      Discussion by Council of vehicles parked at the truck parking lot that are for sale and decision on how to handle.

  1. Presentation of January 2010 Treasurer’s Report and acceptance by Council of said report.
  2. Discussion and decision by Council of passage of Ordinance Number 1018 to repeal Ordinance Number 1015 changing the Cable Nebraska cable television franchise extension from five years to ten years.
  3. Discussion and decision by Council of Last Mile Network’s request to lease space on the water tower for equipment to bring broadband data services to Stromsburg.
  4. Discussion and decision by Council of approving the revised contract with Polk County for use of the Senior Center/Res-Q-Shoppe buildings.
  5. Discussion with the park committee and park foundation board of the swimming pool public meetings and decision on what direction to proceed with the pool project.
  6. Discussion and decision by Council of approving Resolution No. 2010-01 to accept the One and Six Year Street plan.

15.  Review and decision by Council of insurance quotes for health, disability, vision, life, and dental.

16.  Discussion and decision by Council of continuation of rental agreement with Cross County Community School for the shop located at the old high school building at 401 East 4th Street.

17.  Discussion and decision by Council of writing off $492.00 ambulance bill due to the bill being discharged in bankruptcy court.

18.  Discussion and decision by Council of writing off miscellaneous billings from 2004, 2005, and 2007 totaling $153.18.

19.  Discussion and decision by Council of the utilities sponsoring an ad in Nebraska Life Magazine for the Swedish Festival at a cost of $150 or $250.

20.  Discussion and decision by Council of approving revised “Request for Utility Service” agreement.
